Kartell flagship store opens in NoMad design district
On Thursday October 26th, Kartell celebrated the grand opening of its flagship store at 152 Madison Avenue in the NoMad Design District located in NoMad, NYC. The well-known furniture company — a family-run business since its inception over 70 years ago — is starting a new chapter in New York with its second US retail location. The brand, which works with celebrated designers from around the world, specializes in elegant, yet colorful home decor.
A K-Talk discussion on the basement level, featuring Dan Rubinstein, host of “The Grand Tourist,” in conversation with architects and Kartell designers Piero Lissoni and Ferruccio Laviani drew a large crowd. The chat — which ran approximately 45 minutes in length — covered topics that included brand synergy, designer insights, and furniture preferences across the 130 countries where Kartell does business.
Later, the evening transitioned into a party atmosphere on two levels with food, drinks, and a live DJ. Guests were encouraged to linger while taking in the full brand experience in the store’s mock room layouts.
The Kartell flagship store in NoMad Design District is now open seven days a week. Make an appointment to decorate your dream space on their website www.kartell.com
