Swinger NoMad
What exactly is Swingers NoMad? Is it a nightclub? Is it a miniature golf course? Is it a great place to grab a meticulously-curated assortment of street food? NOMAD Magazine discovered that Swingers NoMad is essentially all of the above!
To find the fun, take the stairs two floors below street level. There you will find a playground of English Country Club-themed mini golf courses, a sampling of food vendors serving trendy eats and creative cocktails, and countless Instagramable backdrops. The vibe is super high energy and unique. The place was packed at 6:30 on a Tuesday night.
Founded by Matt Grech-Smith and Jeremy Simmonds, Swingers, which debuted as a pop-up to rave reviews in London in 2014, now has three permanent locations across the pond, two in Washington D.C., and one in NoMad with plans to expand further in 2023 and 2024. The idea came from a desire to “create the most ridiculously fun venue possible.” Based on the crowd we saw in NoMad, Swingers is already changing the game. A great option for date night, a fun night out with a group of friends, or a corporate outing, the venue also provides opportunities for private parties and events.
